Assam Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal during the felicitation ceremony of 8th Hockey India Sub-Junior tiol Championship -2018 in Guwahati announced that realizing the immense potential in state for sports, the state government will establish a Sports University at Chabua in Dibrugarh District.
