According to reports, World Powerlifting Champion Saksham Yadav and five of his powerlifter friends were killed in a car accident on Delhi-Panipat Highway (NH1) on Sunday morning.
The vehicle which is reported to be a Swift Dzire hit pole and road divider early morning in Sunday due to dense fog on Highway.
According to reports, Saksham was referred to AIIMS Trauma Centre where doctors declared him dead in the evening.
Saksham recently won a gold medal in the 2017 powerlifting championship for India in Moscow.
