Iranian Man Breaks World Record, Balances 85 Spoons On His Body

Tehran: Ever heard of someone who can balance 85 spoons on his body ? Or for that matter, anything ? Yes, you heard that right, Anything !

Well, meet Abolfazl Saber Mokhtari from Iran who recently broke the world record for the most spoons balanced on the body with a staggering 85 in Karaj, Iran. It seemed unreal initially until he really made it happen.

Abolfazl said that he noticed this talent when he was a kid and was able to strengthen his talent and develop it to where it is now after multiple years of practice and effort. This dedication and hard work clearly paid off for him.

When asked about the limitations of his unique talent, Mokhtari shared that he hasn't found anything he can't balance, so far.

"Anything, I mean it, any object. Anything that has a surface I can stick to my body, such as plastic, glass, fruit, stone, wood and even a fully grown human," Mokhtari said.

The 50-year-old has developed his skill so much so that he can even balance or stick another human to his body. That really sounds weird until you see it yourself.

Mokhtari believes the secret to his unique ability is being able to transfer energy from his body into the object.

"I can transfer this energy I have in me to them (the objects) as long as I can touch and feel them, I push myself then to focus as much as possible on the objects on my body, and that's how I do it," he said.

He added that he focuses on whatever he is trying to stick to his body, making him capable of transferring his energy and power to them.

Breaking this record was a long and hard journey for him despite his outstanding abilities.

Mokhtari started his attempts to break this record last summer, but the weather spoiled the party for him and he had to wait for another year to clinch this incredible milestone.

As per the guidelines for this record, the spoons must remain balanced on the body for a certain period of time.

A few spoons slipped from his body as he reached the 80th mark due to the humidity and hot weather.

"I tried my best to keep my focus but the temperature of my body and sweat kept bringing me back to the starting point," he said.

Giving up was never an option for him and he managed to break the record on his third attempt.

"I feel so happy and proud right now, and I encourage everyone to keep chasing their dreams and never give up no matter what life throws their way," Mokhtari said.

Marcos Ruiz Ceballos from Spain held the previous record for most spoons balanced on the body, with 64.
