LAHORE: The tragedy occurred on Wazirabad Road in Sialkot on Friday, when employees from private manufacturers allegedly assaulted the factory's export manager, a Sri Lankan national, and burned his body after murdering him.

To keep the rioting mob under control, a large police force has been dispatched to the vicinity. The individual has been identified as Priyantha Kumara, according to Sialkot district police official Umar Saeed Malik.

The reason for the occurrence has yet to be determined by the authorities. Hundreds of men and young boys assembled at the spot, allegedly chanting "Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah" slogans, according to videos uploaded on social media (Here I am at your service, O Messenger of Allah).

Usman Buzdar, the Punjab Chief Minister, called it a "horrific occurrence," while a Sialkot police spokeswoman said information will be released to the public following the first inquiry.

"The situation must be thoroughly examined, and a statement should indeed be produced. Those who take the law into their own hands should be prosecuted "According to the chief minister. The incident was also seen by Punjab Inspector General of Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan, who asked the Gujranwala regional police officer to get to the scene as soon as possible.

"The DPO of Sialkot is on the scene. The issue should be looked at from every angle "According to the IGP. The killing on Friday was similar to one that occurred in the same district in 2010 when an enraged crowd killed two brothers in the sight of police and declared them dacoits.
