Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Research Associate in the 'Centre of Excellence' research project funded by Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India entitled "Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation for a Climate Resilient North East India" under the National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystem (NMSHE) under the Principal Investigator Dr. Ashalata Devi, Department of Environmental Science. Interested candidates who are motivated and willing to undertake extensive field work in different forest ecosystem as well as laboratory work, may sent their latest Curriculum Vitae (PDF file), a recent passport size photograph, Annexure–I (PDF file) along with self–attested photocopies of marksheet, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), certificate of NET/GATE and copy of publication (if any) in a SINGLE PDF file through email to tuenv.dst.coe@gmail.com within 28th September 2021.
Duration: Appointment will be initially for a period of one (01) year, which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project or until further order, whichever is earlier. Maximum duration is four (04) years.
