Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for BSF Pilot, Commandant Vacancy:

Qualifications/ Experience

Capt/ Pilot (DIG)

Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or public Undertaking holding analogous posts or with two years regular service in the grade of Level 13 (Rs. 123100-215900) with twenty years Group 'A' service and possessing qualifications and experience specified below:- (A) (i) to (iii) Not applicable (B)(i) Current Military Flying Category `A'/'B' Master Green rating preferably with DGCA endorsement of Pilot-In-Command on Border Security Force type of Helicopters (As prescribed from time to time as per requirement); and (ii) Flying experience to fly helicopters as Pilot-In-Command with Very Important persons as per Military Norms; and (iii) Minimum Pilot-In-Command experience 2000 hours on Helicopters including 1000 hours on BSF type of Helicopters (As prescribed from time to time as per requirement).

Commandant

Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or public Undertaking holding analogous posts or with five years regular service in the grade of pay Level 12 (Rs. 78800-209200) with 15 years Group 'A' service and possessing qualifications and experience as under:- (i) Current Military Flying Category 'IT/Green rating with medically fit flying on Border Security Force type of Helicopter; and

(b Current Instrument Rating: and (ii) Total flying experience of 1000 hours.

SAM (Inspr)

Officials under the Central Government or the State ' Government or Public Sector Undertaking holding analogous post or in the level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs 35400-I 12400/-) with five years regular service in the grade and possessing qualifications and experience prescribed below :- (i) (a) Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by Directorate General Civil Aviation; or (b) Group ' X' Diploma in the relevant trade issued by the Indian Air Force; (ii) Minimum experience of eight years in Helicopter maintenance with three years of maintenance experience on Border Security Force type Helicopter i.e. MI-17 and MI-17 Variants.

JAM (SI)

Officials under the Central Government or State Governments or Public Sector undertakings holding analogous posts on regular basis or in the Level — 5 in the pay matrix (Rs 29200-92300/-) with six years regular service in the grade and possessing qualifications and experience prescribed below :- (i) (a) Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation: or (b)Group 'X' Diploma in the relevant trade issued by the Indian Air Force; (ii) Minimum experience of eight years in Helicopter maintenance with three years maintenance experience on Border Security Force i.e. M1-17 and MI-17 Variants.

AAM (ASI)

Officials under Central Government/ State Government/ Public Sector Undertakings holding analogous posts on regular basis or in the Level — 4 in the pay matrix Rs 25500-81 I00/- with five years regular service in the grade and possessing qualifications and experience prescribed below :- (i) (a) Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation; or (b) Group 'X' Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force; (ii) Preferably two years relevant aviation experience after completion of diploma course (to be prescribed from time to time).

Sr. Flight Engineer (Inspr)

Officials under the Central Government or the State Government holding analogous posts on regular basis or in the level — 6 in the pay matrix (Rs 35400 — I 12400/-) with five years regular service in the grade and possessing qualifications and experience prescribed below :- (i) Possession of total 1000 flying hours on Multi Engine Helicopters and minimum 250 hours on the type of Helicopter operated by the Border Security Force (to be prescribed from time to time): (ii) Medically tit for flying as per Indian Air Force. (iii) Minimum flying category `13' on any type of Multi Engine Helicopter (operated by Border Security Force i.e. MI-17 and MI-17 Variants helicopter for re-employment.

Jr. Flight Engineer (SI)

Officials under the Central Government or State Governments:-(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis or (ii) with six years regular service in the grade in the level — 5 in the pay matrix (Rs 29200 — 92300/-) and (b) possessing qualifications and experience prescribed below (i) (a) Military Flight Engineer Rating as per Indian Air Force Norms on the Helicopter i.e. MI-17 and M1-17 Variants. or (b) Valid Flight Engineer's License issued by the Directorate General, Civil Aviation on the Helicopter i.e. M1-17 and MI-17 Variant; (ii) Possession of total 500 flying hours on Multi Engine Helicopters and minimum 100 hours on the Helicopter (or variants for deputation or re-employment) operated by the Border Security Force i.e. MI-17 and MI-17 Variants; (iii) Medically fit for flying as per Indian Air Force or Directorate General of Civil aviation norms; (iv) Minimum flying category 'C' on any Multi Engine Helicopter (or variants for deputation or re-employment) operated by Border Security Force i.e. MI-17 and MI-17 Variants for re-employment.

Jr. Flight Gunner (SI)

Officials under the Central Government or State Governments holding analogous posts on regular basis or in the level — 5 in the pay matrix (Rs 29200 — 92300/-) with six years regular service in the grade and possessing qualifications and experience prescribed below :- (i) Military Flight Gunner Rating as per Indian Air force Norms on the type helicopter i.e. MI-17 and MI-17 Variants operated by the Border Security Force; (ii) Possession of total of 500 flying hours on Multi-Engine Helicopter and minimum 100 hours on Helicopter (or variants for deputation or re-employment) operated by the Border Security Force i.e. MI-17 and MI-17 Variants; (iii) Medically lit for flying as per Indian Air Force. (iv) Minimum flying category - C' type on any Multi-Engine Helicripter (or variants for deputation or re-employment) operated by Border Security Force i.e. MI-17 and MI-17 Variants for re-employment.
