North-Eastern Hill University, is a Central University established on 19 July 1973 by an Act of the Indian Parliament. The university is in the suburb of Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya, India. The university has two campuses: Shillong and Tura in Meghalaya.

Data Entry Operator cum Office Assistant | Qualification : Graduation. Preference will be given to those having the following experience:- 1. Cataloging still photographs using Adobe Lightroom CC 2. Cataloging video clips using Adobe Photoshop cc 3. Low level editing of camera RAW still images using Adobe Lightroom CC 4. Knowledge of creating content database and data entry of multi-media content in the database Required Skills : Knowledge of MS Office, Good typing speed, Communication skills in oral and written modes. |
Junior Research Associate | Qualification : 1. Must have M.A. in Folkloristics with minimum 60% Marks. 2. Must have qualified for UGC National Eligibility Test (NET). 3. Must have a minimum 3 years of research experience in North-East India. 4. Must have fieldwork research experience with indigenous communities in the Eastern Himalayan region of the North Eastern States. 5. Must have at least one research publication in any standard refereed journal. 6. Must have demonstrated ability to travel and work in remote and difficult conditions for extended periods of time 7. Must have proven ability to work independently with excellent communication skills, oral and written. 8. Must have thorough knowledge of and experience in full suite of MS Office products. |
Research Associate | Qualification : 1. PhD in Cultural Studies/Folkloristics 2. Minimum 3 years of research experience in North-East India. 3. Published works in books, journals and research papers in any standard refereed journal 4. Must have fieldwork research experience with indigenous communities in the Eastern Himalayan region of the North Eastern States. 5.
