Educational Qualification and Eligibility Criteria for NERIST Job Vacancy:

JRF	1st Class M. Sc in Botany/ Life Sciences/ Forestry / Agriculture/ Horticulture. Candidates with working experience in banana seedling establishment, nursery management (including green house & polyhouse), vegetative propagation, conservation practices, field visits in remote hills and forest areas, sample collection, storage, herbarium preparation, etc. will be preferred
Senior Project Associate	Ph.D. in Botany/ Life Sciences/ Forestry / Agriculture/ Horticulture with experience in in banana seedling establishment, nursery management (including green house & polyhouse), vegetative propagation, conservation practices, field visits in remote hills and forest areas, sample collection, storage, herbarium preparation, etc. or 1st Class M. Sc in Botany/ Life Sciences/ Forestry / Agriculture/ Horticulture with minimum of four (4) years of experience in in banana seedling establishment, nursery management (including green house & polyhouse), vegetative propagation, conservation practices, field visits in remote hills and forest areas, sample collection, storage, herbarium preparation, etc
Field Worker	B.Sc. in Botany/ Forestry/ Agriculture/ Horticulture. Preference will be given to those candidates with working experience in in banana seedling establishment, nursery management (including green house & polyhouse), vegetative propagation, conservation practices, field visits in remote hills and forest areas, sample collection, storage, herbarium preparation, etc.
