Meghalaya police arrested drug dealers at Mawryngkeng

SHILLONG: The Anti Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) team along with officers and staff of Mawryngkneng police station after tracking the movements of petty drug peddlers were able to arrest three drug dealers at Mawryngkeng Junction here on the night of May 12. The arrested persons have been identified has Mrinal Kanti Das, Rakesh Barua and Moitre Barua.

One transparent plastic packet containing suspected yellowish orange powder weighing 11.63 grams and one empty pink soap box with transparent plastic packet inside were recovered and seized under due procedures of the NDPS Act.
