Veteran singer Pranati Khaund’s songs recreated in new avatars

Two very interesting and much appreciated musical numbers were released recently. Both based on songs originally rendered by veteran singer Pranati Khaund, the new songs were sung by the veteran singer herself and her daughter Sanjeeta Khaund.

The first song, “'Moi Sapno Dekhu'' has been recreated from an old classic hit from AIR (All India Radio) of veteran singer Pranati Khaund. The recreated song was released on the 5th of November 2018 under the Music label - TUNE YOUR SOUL Productions. The lyrics of the original song are by Satish Das while the original composer is Sunil Deb. The music of the new song was recreated by Pradeep and recorded at Paresh Music (Mumbai). While the video direction, cinematography and editing was done by Anuprash Das, the video of the recreated song featured Udayan Duwarah,Priyam Pallabee Kashyap and Biswajit Ojha.

Sanjeeta Khaund’s ‘Jibon Joguwa, Jibonot ahe jodi, Jodihe tumar” are three “All India Radio” classic hit songs of her mother Pranati Khaund. The newly revamped songs got released on 11th November, 2018 under the Music Label, TUNE YOUR SOUL Productions. The lyrics and composition of Jibon Joguwa are by Mukul Barua, those of Jibonotahe jodi are by Hemanta Goswami, while Jodihe tumar’s lyrics have been penned by Nilakanta Sharma composed by Subir Gupta. The music has been beautifully recreated by Sumeet Gupta (Raja) and recorded at Red Av (Guwahati). The video direction, cinematography and editing has been done by Anuprash Das.

Sanjeeta Khaund is a noted fashion designer of Mumbai. She is also a noted singer and has performed alongside maestro Anup Jalota a number of times.
