3 Day Mathematica training at Arya Vidyapeeth College
GUWAHATI: Department of Biotechnology Government of India sponsored a three day Mathematica Training programme held in the department of Mathematics of Arya Vidyapeeth College from November 14 to 16, 2019. Students and faculty members from different colleges participated in the programme. The inaugural speech of the programme was delivered by the principal Dr. PK Bhattacharya. The head of the department Sukumar Dev Sharma welcomed the participants. The chief guest Prof Hemanta Kumar Sarma, department of Mathematics Guwahati University discussed the application of Mathematica. The convenor of the programme Dr. Ranjan Das and Chanchal Baruah, a family member introduced the dignitaries which include resource persons from Guwahati University to the participants. On Saturday, the programme came to an end with the valedictory function.
