National channels ignoring NE
Once again Assam is drowning in flood. People are getting homeless and hopeless. Flood water is seeping in to the houses. The northeastern news channels are giving regular updates of the worsening situation of Assam floods. Also the corona cases are increasing rapidly like a wildfire in the State. At this time what adds to my sadness is that the big national news channels are totally ignoring Assam and the Northeast. The news of Assam may sometimes hit headlines of their channels but they never give any detailed information of any news related to Assam. These news channels have always kept the Northeast India in darkness. It is my humble request to all these national news channels to let the nation know about the Northeast. After all, the Northeast is an unbreakable part of United India. Without it India's unity, tradition, culture etc are incomplete. Without the Northeast, India can never be called as 'incredible India'.
