MUMBAI: Kajol surprised her fans when she declared her that she is taking a break from social media on Instagram and Twitter. She shared a photo with a black background and the caption, "Facing one of the toughest trials of my life."  Meanwhile, Kajol has been very active on Instagram, especially with photos of her family, which includes her husband Ajay Devgn, daughter Nysa, and son Yug. She also frequently shares recollections from her popular flicks, such as Gupt and Bekhudi, which just had anniversaries.

However, she did not specify the cause, but fans believe it was a publicity stunt for her upcoming web series, The Trial - Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka, based on netizens speculations.

Kajol is now working on a number of major projects and will next be seen in Lust Stories 2. The show's teaser was recently released. The Netflix drama will star Neena Gupta, Vijay Varma, and Tamannaah Bhatia, among others, and will be directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sensharma, and R Balki.

While it was already stated that the actress would make her OTT debut with The Good Wife, Disney+ Hotstar unveiled the first poster for The Trial- Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka on Friday. It is unclear whether this is a new show or if The Good Wife has been renamed.

Moreover, while making a debut in the OTT Kajol shared, “Throughout my acting career, I've played a variety of characters, but the firsts are always the most memorable. The beauty of OTT platforms is that they allow creators and actors to reinvent and experiment with different formats, and that's exactly what I got with Disney+ Hotstar's The Good Wife! As a first step in my profession, I'll be portraying a lawyer in my debut series, directed by Suparn Verma. Stay tuned for additional information regarding the show and the character I play!"
