Romantic Movie Review: An Over Romantic Action Movie

Romantic is a Telugu language film directed by Anil Paduri casting Akash Puri and Ketika Sharma in the lead roles appearing in very romantic characters. The movie has been released on Friday 29 October and with an IMDb rating of 6.5/10.

In the story, Akash Puri played the role of a gangster as Vasco De Gama Alberto who is 21 years old and has a good heart. Monika whose role is played by Ketika Sharma appears as stunning beauty who falls in love with the gangster.

Alberto doesn't care about people's consent or permission as he often touches Monika without her consent. Whenever Alberto meets Monika he starts harassing her and Monika seems somehow okay about this because she never complains. If she wishes Monika has all the opportunity to put the gangster inside the jail as her brother John was a police officer played by Uttej. Actress Ramya Krishnan appears in the movie as ACP Ramya Gowariker who made her entry to put the gangster behind bars. Ramya is also the one who narrates the story of the two star-crossed lovers.

Vasco De Gama Alberto starts in the movie being a son of a Police Officer but later took over different good and bad ways for his need of survival. He had made a great footprint in the world of smuggling and became the most wanted gangster after Samsung whose role is played by Makarand Deshpande. Samsung was the top gangster but was soon replaced by Vasco. But Vasco's lusting over Monika makes his return to the town.

Songs and dialogues along with Music by Sunil Kashyap are something much delightful to keep the audience engaging. Cinematography by Naresh Rama in the movie that captures the golden glow is loved by viewers. Ramya Krishnan is as usual the steals of the show. But hiding the concept of love in showing lust is the biggest drawback of the film Romantic.

The movie shows gangster clans along with lust, love, and intense romance. The scenes were captured among the scenic beauty of Goa showing the sunrises and sunsets. The shots showing Monika on the beach were captured as the best shots.
