Triptii Dimri is currently ruling the headlines as she has bagged Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming movie - “Spirit”. It is being reported that she has replaced Deepika Padukone in the film that stars Prabhas as the male lead. A few days ago, Sandeep Reddy Vanga took to his social media account to announce that Triptii Dimri is the female lead and since then, there are a lot of speculations around Deepika Padukone’s exit from the film. Amid this no official confirmation on the same, her fees is said to be much lesser than that of Deepika Padukone. Earlier, reports suggested that Deepika Padukone was demanding Rs 20 crore for the film. Reportedly, the actress was also demanding shorter working hours. Eventually, Sandeep Reddy Vanga roped in Triptii Dimri for his film marking their second collaboration after Animal. Triptii achieved a new level of success as she played the role of Zoya in Animal that had Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles.

Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s cryptic post on social media has also drawn attention. Rumours had it that Deepika Padukone exited the film due to the bold content. Following the reports, Sandeep Reddy Vanga in his cryptic note slammed actors for playing ‘dirty PR games’. A part of his post read, “Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for ? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. You will never get it.” His post has gone viral with many wondering if it was meant to target Deepika Padukone. On the work front, Deepika Padukone’s next is Kalki 2898 AD part 2. Reportedly, she is also a part of Shah Rukh Khan’s movie “King”. (Agencies)
