The first solar eclipse of this year will be seen on the last day of this month i.e. on 30 April 2022. The year 2022 will witness only two solar eclipses and 4 lunar eclipses.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has recently published an official notification sharing important details about the solar eclipse to take place on Saturday 30 April.
The upcoming solar eclipse will be a partial one and according to NASA, it will be visible from regions of the Southern Pacific Ocean, Antarctica and southern South America.
As per the official release, the sun will appear partially eclipsed for those with clear skies in southwestern Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, southern Peru and southwestern Bolivia.
In India, the Surya Grahan will begin at 12:15 am on Saturday and it will end at 04:07 am in the morning on Sunday 1st May.
The astrologist and sky gazers are much curious to know whether the partial solar eclipse can be watched from India or not.
However, it is very clear that the eclipse will not be visible from regions of India as during the eclipse India will have night hours and the sun will be shining in other parts of the earth which will be having daytime.
People from India can later watch the episode from various sites and channels which will directly cover the eclipse live on their broadcasting platforms.
The space agency NASA will also share the live telecast of the solar eclipse on its social media platforms and YouTube channel.
Astrologists and experts recommend certain dos and don'ts for people to keep in mind during the solar eclipse.
People are advised not to watch the eclipse with naked eyes as strong electromagnetic waves are released at that time which may cause extreme harm to the eyes.
During the time of the eclipse, it is not safe for pregnant women to come out in the sunlight therefore they must avoid exposing themselves to the sun.
