New Delhi: World Health Day is observed every year across the globe on 7 April with an aim to draw people's attention towards a specific and current topic regarding health. The day marks the anniversary of the World Health Organization (WHO) foundation day in 1948. 

With numerous deadly medical issues affecting masses in millions all over the world, World Health Day is marked to promote awareness about people's general health and well-being.
