

Guwahati: With the declaration of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exam results, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Union Minister Smriti Irani seems to be happy as their sons have scored satisfactory marks in the Class 12 exams.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s son Pulkit has scored 96.4% marks in Class 12 board exam results while Smriti Irani’s son Zohr secured 91% marks.
Pulkit’s mother Sunita in a tweet announced her son’s result saying, “With God’s grace and well-wishers blessings my son has secured 96.4% in CBSE Class 12 exams.” Pulkit is a student of Delhi Public School (DPS), Noida Sector 30. Pulkit has secured 10 CGPA in all the five subjects English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Hindi.
On the other hand, Smriti Irani also took to Twitter to announce that her son has passed the Class 12 exam with a good percentage and said that she is proud of her son who has secured 91%. In the tweet, Irani said, “Ok saying it out loud proud of my son Zohr, not only did he come back with a bronze medal from the World Kempo Championship but also scored well in the board exam. Best of 4 91%. Special yahoo for 94% in economics. Today I am just a gloating mom.”
The results of Class 12 CBSE board exams have been declared on Thursday and once again the girls have outshined the boys. The data of CBSE says that 83.4% of students cleared the examinations which include 79.4% boys while 88.70% are girls.
A total of nearly 12.87 lakh students had appeared for the examination in all zones between February 15 to April 4 and the results were declared in a record time of 28 days.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar also congratulated the 10 lakhs students passed in the examination through a tweet.
PM Modi in a tweet said, “Congratulations to all my young friends who have successfully passed the CBSE Class 12 examinations. My best wishes to them for their endeavours. Kudos to their parents and teachers for their valuable support.”
