Heavy Firing Exchanges on LoC in Rajouri

Jammu: Indian and Pakistan armies exchanged heavy fire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Saturday after Pakistan violated the ceasefire, a defence official said. “At about 6 p.m., Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by shelling with mortars and firing of small arms along the LoC in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri,” Defence Ministry spokesman, Lt Col Devender Anand said. “Indian Army is retaliating effectively.” (IANS)
