Opposition Asks for Proof while Pak is still Counting Bodies: PM Modi

Guwahati: Addressing an election campaign rally Koraput in Odisha today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Pakistan is still counting the bodies of terrorists killed in India's air strike in Balakot which has been carried out days after the Pulwama terror attack and the opposition still keeps on asking for proof.

The Prime Minister while hitting out at the opposition over their questions on the air strike carried out by Indian Air Force on February 26 which had destroyed the biggest ever terror camp in Balakot said, "It has been a month and Pakistan is still busy in counting the bodies and these people only keeps asking for proof."

He further said that the oppositions only demand proof when India acts against terrorists, goes into the enemy's home and strikes them.

The Prime Minister further raised the issue of the opposition who has criticized over his nationally televised announcement of Mission Shakti and said that two days ago Odisha along with the rest of India witnessed something great and that the nation has now become a space power and that is something that the world has now noticed. He said that India is now even doing chowkidari even in space and when the world takes notice and all of are proud of the scientists, there are those handfuls of people who are just always blaming, questioning, criticizing and insulting such great achievements.

Modi further claims that by doing all this, they only insult our soldiers and scientists who are doing great things. On this, Modi asked the people in Odisha that does they want such people who insult the forces of the nation and the scientists and shouldn't they be punished? The PM also asked the people whether they want a strong government or a weak one?

The PM went on to establish a new routine provoked by the Congress President Rahul Gandhi's Chowkidar Chor Hai (the Chowkidar is a thief) attacks. When asked, "Mein Bhi?", the chorus came as 'Chowkidar.'

The Lok Sabha polls in Odisha is slated on April 11 which will be held in seven phases in the country.

The BJP won just one parliamentary seat of 21 in Odisha and 10 of the 147 assembly seats in the 2014 elections.
