NEW DELHI: Zomato's board of directors has approved a change in the company's name from 'Zomato Ltd' to 'Eternal Ltd'. The decision was made through a resolution passed on February 6, 2025, as per a regulatory filing made by the company on Thursday. This move marks a significant shift in the company's identity.

Meanwhile, Deepinder Goyal, CEO of Zomato, has posted a new job offer for an AI-related role, asking applicants to use a specific subject line in their emails, sparking interest online. He invited business and product leaders who use AI as a "second brain" to email him at d@zomato.com with the subject line, "I have a second brain." Some users recalled his past controversies, while others found the approach interesting.

On X, Goyal shared how AI has helped boost his productivity. An angel investor praised AI for its impact on decision-making and creativity. The job post was well-received, with users discussing how AI enhances their work and daily lives.

The post read, "I want to work with business and product leaders who use Al as their second brain. If that's you, email me at d@zomato.com with the subject line, '1 have a second brain."

In November 2024, Zomato had also launched a feature called 'Food Rescue' to sell cancelled orders at a discounted price within a 3-km radius. The feature was only available for few minutes to ensure the freshness of the food items.
