Ahmedabad: Woman Makes Sister Marry Lover To Hide Extramarital Affair

Ahmedabad: Abhayam Helpline counsellors recently received a complicated case wherein a woman hailing from Ahmedabad had alleged that she was made to marry the brother of her elder sister's husband so as to hide the sister's extramarital relationship.

As per the case details, the sister had orchestrated the marriage as she wanted to conceal her affair with her husband's brother.

Abhayam Helpline counsellors said that a 23 year old woman had called them to inform that her in-laws and her sister was harassing her.

According to the counsellors, the woman revealed that her sister had tied the knot four years ago. Her sister's extramarital affair was discovered by the complainant soon after she got married.

The 23 year old informed that she complained about her sister's affair to her husband, but he did not take any action, after which she called the helpline. She told the helpline's counsellors that she did not have any relationship with her husband.

 Later, the complainant's husband and her sister finally admitted that the wedding had been set up in order make sure that the knowledge of the affair remains intact within the family.

However, the family has assured that the extramarital relationship will come to an end and amends will be made for the complainant.

Meanwhile, Indian women prefer older men aged between 30 and 40 as partners for extramarital affairs, while men mostly prefer women partners aged between 25 and 30, shows data from the extramarital dating app Gleeden.

As per the kind of relation, men are 'open to everything' and mostly look for 'anything exciting', while Indian women are more cautious and mostly prefer 'virtual' exchanges, according to the data.
