NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE is likely to conduct the Term 1 examination for Class 10 and 12 in mid-November this year.

The exact dates of the CBSE Term-1 exams will be out by mid-October.

CBSE Board exams 2021:

Students planning to appear for the CBSE class 12 exam can visit the official website of CBSE and keep a check on it. The CBSE board exams generally begin in February but due to the 2nd pandemic wave, they were delayed.

However, the Term 2 exams have been scheduled for March-April 2022.

Term 1 pattern

The period of the term-1 exam is likely to be within 4-8 weeks.

The multiple-choice questions might also include case-based and reasoning-type MCQ questions.

The duration will be 90 minutes.

Earlier, the students enrolled under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will receive a waiver of examination and registration fee if their parents have succumbed to the deadly COVID-19. This was announced by CBSE who have also requested the school authorities to submit the details of such students after doing a proper verification check.

According to the CBSE, "The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the country adversely and keeping in view of its impact on students, CBSE, as a special measure for academic session 2021-22, has decided that neither the exam fees nor the registration fees will be charged by the Board from the students who have lost both parents or surviving parent or legal guardian/ adoptive parents due to COVID-19 pandemic."

As of far, the board has directed the schools to send the list of candidates (LOC) for classes 10 and 12 before September 30 without late fees and before October 9 with late fees. "This is a special measure for the academic session 2021-2022," the board added.
