CBSE Releases Revised Date Sheet for Class 10 & 12 Board Examinations

The revised date sheet for CBSE 10th and 12th examination 2021 can be checked on the official website of the board or can be referred from the time table below

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education on Friday released a revised date sheet for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2021.

Meanwhile, students can download the revised date sheet and find the changes made by the board in the exam schedule.

However, the duration of time for each subject/paper as given on the question paper be followed meticulously.
Answer books would be distributed to candidates between 10.00 AM–10.15 AM.
Candidates would write their particulars on the answer book.
Particulars shall be checked and signed by Assistant Superintendent(s).

6. Question paper will be distributed at 10.15 AM.

From 10.15 AM–10.30 AM (15 minutes), candidates shall read the question paper.
Candidates would plan a proper strategy to write the answers.

Class-XII examinations will be conducted in two shifts on 4 days.
The Schedule of the examinations would be as follows:-

According to the revised date sheet, the CBSE Class 10 and Class, 12 board exam will commence from May 4, but the Class 10th exam will end on June 7 and Class 12th on June 14.

The Science paper for Class 10 has been postponed from May 15 to May 21, while the Maths paper has been postponed from May 21 to June 2 in the revised CBSE board exams 2021 schedule.

The Class 12 physics examination has been postponed to June 8 from May 13 in the revised schedule. There will be no exams between May 13 and May 16, according to the new schedule.

Also, the revised schedule says that Class 12 exams will be conducted in two shifts on 4 days.

The duration and time for each paper have been indicated on the date sheet, but candidates have to meticulously follow the duration of time for each subject as given on the question paper. After the distribution of answer books, 15 minutes of time will be given to candidates for reading the question paper.

CBSE has also released the guidelines for conducting practical examinations, projects, internal assessment for Class 10 and Class 12 examination on Friday.

Notably, the practical examinations will be conducted by schools from March 1 and the results for both the classes are to be announced by July 15.

It is to be mentioned here that the CBSE had earlier this month announced that board exams in 2021 will be conducted in written mode and not online.

Schools across the country were closed in March to contain the spread of COVID-19 and were partially reopened in some states from October 1, 2020.
