COVID-19: 120 people died in just 24 hours in India, total death 2,872

India's COVID-19 situation has worsened more as number of fatalities due to the pandemic increases by the day. As per a latest data 120 people died from the coronavirus pandemic in just 24 hours across the country. The country reported this on Sunday, May 17, revealing that the pandemic claimed the lives of 120 people in the country in the last 24 hours. According to the Union Health Ministry data, this is the highest number of COVID-19 deaths in a 24-hour period in the country so far. Thereby, the number of deaths from the pandemic increased to 2,872 today. The Ministry revealed on Sunday that the total COVID-19 cases have crossed 90,000 marks in the country. Till now 90,927 cases have been reported from across the country, the Ministry data said.
