Delhi: Women Shot Dead In Hotel, Culprit Attempts Suicide

NEW DELHI: A 38-year-old man named Praveen shot his partner in the chest in a hotel in Delhi's Narela today after a contentious quarrel. He shot himself in the head in an attempt to kill himself, but he survived. He is currently receiving treatment at the Sanjay Gandhi hospital.

The most prevalent factor that distinguishes the nation's capital from other cities in recent days is violence against women. Although the city is still coming to terms with the horrific murders of Shraddha and Aayush, another terrible execution of a woman in an Oyo hotel room by her partner also shocked the community.

When they were taken to the hospital, though, his partner was reported dead. According to hotel records, on Tuesday, Praveen and his partner Geeta checked into the hotel room. According to reports, a member of the hotel staff told police that he had overheard heated disputes before the two fires were shot. The sound of a gunshot quickly caused alarm, and the police were summoned.

Sources claimed that Praveen was charged with murder on September 21 after he allegedly fired shots at a man named Gaurav. Additionally, he was jailed after receiving a complaint from Gaurav's father. He is now, however, free on bail. Additionally, Praveen according to the source is a married man with a wife named Sushila who lives with his kids in a village.

Delhi Oyo has also garnered media attention. A few months ago, the proprietor of a hotel with an Oyo registration was imprisoned because he refused to provide a Kashmiri man a room. Oyo, however shortly after that canceled the hotel's registration.

Two questions have been raised by the recent crime. The first one relates to hotel security in Oyo; specifically, how can someone enter the hotel room with a gun? And the second was about Praveen's prior performance. He ought to have been properly monitored while out on bail because he was already charged with murder.
