How A Man Boards An Indigo Flight To Patna And Lands In Udaipur
On January 30, he reportedly booked a flight on Indigo 6E-214 from Delhi to Patna. However, he boarded flight 6E-319 bound for Rajasthan's Udaipur.

Afsar Hussain, a passenger on the Indigo flight from Delhi to Patna, arrived in Undaipur instead. Hussain scanned his boarding pass for the Patna-bound 6E-214 at Terminal 1 of Indira Gandhi International Airport. According to reports, the error occurred when he boarded the incorrect coach (a coach meant to take Udaipur-bound passengers of flight 6E-319).
On January 30, he reportedly booked a flight on Indigo 6E-214 from Delhi to Patna. However, he boarded flight 6E-319 bound for Rajasthan's Udaipur. Hussain realised he had arrived in Udaipur instead of Patna only after landing in the city of Rajasthan, at which point he contacted the airline. The following day, he was flown back to his original location.
Despite the fact that boarding tickets are checked at two locations, the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation is attempting to determine why the passenger's boarding pass was not completely examined and how he boarded the incorrect flight. We are aware of the situation involving a passenger on flight 6E-319 from Delhi to Udaipur. In regards to this problem, we are in contact with the relevant authorities.
The DGCA has requested a report from the airline, and a top regulatory official has warned of "necessary action" after the problem has been investigated.
IndiGo stated this in a press release.
