Hyderabad: A farmer from Telangana, who was a big fan of United States President Donald Trump, and had fasted for Trump's recovery from COVID-19, died of cardiac arrest on Sunday last.

The deceased Bussa Krishna Raju's friend has revealed that Raju was extremely upset over the United States President Donald Trump testing positive for coronavirus.

According to reports, Raju used to offer daily prayers to Donald Trump was nicknamed 'Trump Krishna' by villagers.

One of his close friends told scribes that Raju had installed a six-feet statue of the United States President Donald Trump last year and used to worship him.

Over the past 3-4 days, Raju spent sleepless nights, starved, and prayed for the United States President's recovery from the COVID-19.

US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump had tested positive for COVID-19 on October 1.

Meanwhile, Trump's physician has said in a statement released late on Saturday that the President is now no longer contagious and cannot transmit the virus to others.

"I am happy to report that in addition to the President meeting CDC criteria for the safe discontinuation of isolation, this morning's COVID PCR sample demonstrates, by currently recognised standards, he is no longer considered a transmission risk to others," the doctor said in his statement.

It had been 10 days since Mr. Trump first began showing symptoms of the coronavirus.

Tests showed there was "no longer evidence of actively replicating virus," and that Trump's viral load was "decreasing," Dr. Conley continued. He has not declared that Trump is virus-free, though.

In his first public address after the COVID-19 scare, Trump says that he is "feeling great."

Trump is now fever-free and is symptoms have apparently "improved. The doctor added that he would continue to monitor the President.
