During the 1970s her husband opened A-Z Driving School in the Kochi region of Kerala but he died in an accident in the year 2004.

In 1988, Radhamani received her first driving license for both lorry and bus and then she drove a bus from Thoppumpady Cherthala in the Alappuzha district of Kerala.
