NEW DELHI: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' in a press meet said that the third and fourth sessions of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2021 will be conducted in July and August.

Notably, the third session will be conducted from July 20 to 25 and the fourth session has been scheduled for July 27 to August 2, the minister said.

The JEE Main 2021 application window for the third session will be opened tonight and the last date to register is July 8.

Application forms will reopen at jeemain.nta.nic.in from today onwards, students who have not applied before as well as those who have applied in previous sessions can both apply now. The application forms will only be available for three days. Further, students have also been allowed to change their exam centres. To ensure they get the city or centre in the nearest location, the number of exam centres have also been increased. 

For the fourth and final session, the registration window will be reopened from July 27 to August 2, the minister added.

Students, during the application window, will be allowed to change their exam centres, the minister said, adding that the number of exam centers has been doubled for the remaining two sessions.

Earlier, these exams had been postponed due to the second wave of COVID-19 in the country.
