Rift continues: Rohit Sharma ‘unfollows’ Kohli wife Anushka Sharma’s Instagram account

Seems the ego clash between the superstar cricketers of the Indian national cricket team is not over yet and a recent act of Rohit Sharma ‘unfollowing’ a social media account of Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma has hinted at that once again.

This is not unknown to the fans and followers of the Indian cricket team that the star cricketers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are not in good terms since the last World Cup tour in England. Now, the latest update is that Rohit Sharma, which earlier was a follower of Anushka Sharma’s Instagram account, has now unfollowed her and the immediate reason behind this act by the cricketer is suspected to be the rift between the two players.

However, not only Anushka, Rohit had unfollowed Virat as well after which Anushka had posted a photo on her Instagram account that read: “A wise man once said nothing. Only truth can shake hands with silence in a mess of false appearances.” Perhaps, it is this message by the actor that pinched the star performer of the recently concluded world cup series for which Anushka Sharma too was unfollowed by Rohit.

Anushka too has stopped following both Rohit and his wife Ritika Sajdeh while Virat is following Rohit’s Instagram account yet.

The rift between the two cricketers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli was visible from the two player’s behavior after India lost the match to New Zealand in World Cup semi-final. Hints of the creation of two lobbies inside the team were also in air for which BCCI too had considered splitting captainship between the two.

What is said and done, the Indian cricket team fan wants to see the team together, playing together and clinching victory and it is expected that the players too realize the emotions of their fans.
