Guwahati: Ankit Acharya, a former assistant of deceased Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, has sensationally claimed that the actor was murder using his pet dog's belt.

In a recent interview, Ankit Acharya, stated that Sushant was probably murdered with the belt that he used to tie his pet dog, Fudge.

"When someone strangulates you….its always in O shape. In Sushant's case, it's an O-shaped mark", Ankit said, justifying his shocking claim. Acharya further that Sushant could not have committed suicide.

In the sensational interview, Ankit further added that Sushant Singh Rajput "changed" after Rhea Chakraborty entered his life last year.

He further added that he is "very happy" with the case being transferred to the CBI. "I want the culprits to be hanged till death", he said.

Ankit had started working with Sushant Singh Rajput from 2017, and worked with him till August of 2019.

The CBI, meanwhile, is going to probe the Rhea Chakraborty's involvement in SSR's life and her role in abetment to suicide, as mentioned in the FIR filed by the late actor's father in the case. Rhea and five others have already been booked by the CBI.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday registered an FIR amid the ongoing controversy over Sushant Singh Rajput's death. This comes a day after Central notification handed over the case to the agency on the recommendation of the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government.

As per reports, the FIR filed by the agency is based on the one registered by Bihar police in Patna.

The CBI's FIR names Sushant's rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her parents, her brother Showik and two others for "suspected offences of criminal conspiracy, abetment of suicide, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, theft, criminal breach of trust, cheating and criminal intimidation."
