Tinsukia: Frontline Covid Workers Dance to Relieve COVID Patients of Mental Stress

Tinsukia:

A beautiful video has emerged from Assam's Tinsukia district, in which healthcare personnel put on an engaging dance performance to relieve the tension of COVID-19 patients housed in isolation at Shiksha Gurukul Covid Care Centre.

Three healthcareMizoram: Disinfectant Squad Cheer COVID Affected Family by Dancing, Video Surfaces workers, fully geared appear in the video where one of them dances to a song to keep the COVID-19 patients kept in isolation entertained. The COVID-19 patients stand and soak in the positive energy radiating out of the valiant COVID-19 warriors, who at grave times like this are trying their level best to lift up the spirits of the COVID patients.

At a time when our country is facing an acute humanitarian crisis inflicted by the demonic coronavirus pandemic, even the slightest effort taken by people to bring on positive vibes should be appreciated, encouraged and applauded.

The coronavirus pandemic has taken a massive toll on all aspects of a person's well-being, mental health being one of them. Therefore, strong measures should be implemented to address the mental well-being of COVID-19 patients. Healthcare workers must be considerate, empathetic and compassionate towards the unfortunate COVID-19 affected patients.

Looking for the light in dark times such as this, the touching gesture shown by the healthcare workers towards the COVID-19 patients should serve as an example of how "compassion conquers all." This also gives us a sneak peek into how relentlessly and diligently our frontline COVID-19 warriors are fighting this deadly infectious disease. The least we can do as a society to honour the sacrifices made by our frontline COVID-19 warriors is to simply adhere to COVID-friendly behaviour.
