11 Child Labourers rescued in Guwahati, FIR lodged Against Employers

Guwahati: Under the aegis of the District Task Force under Kamrup (M) Administration, District Child Protection Officer, Labour Department and NGO Childline launched a joint operation in Bharalumukh's Athgaon area on Monday and rescued at least 11 Child Labourers.

As per a report, the custody of all the Child Labourers was handed over to the District ‘Shishu Suraksha Samitee’.

It is to be noted that this has been one of the major successful rescue operation conducted by the Kamrup District Administration so far.

Meanwhile, an FIR was lodged against the employers by the Labour Department in Bharalumukh PS.
