All Koch Rajbongshi Students’ Union (AKRSU) observes ‘Betrayal Day’

Bongaigaon: The All Koch Rajbongshi Students’ Union (AKRSU) observed ‘Betrayal Day’ on Tuesday throughout the State. Talking to media persons, Gokul Barman, secretary of AKRSU, said that government had deceived the Koch Rajbongshi community.

“Neither initiative for ST categorization of Koch Rajbongshi community nor for the formation of separate Kamatapur state has been taken as yet. Hence, we observed ‘Betrayal Day’ today,” he said. AKRSU hoisted a black flag in several places of Assam, including Bongaigaon.
