Assam Police in its humorous tweet asks smuggler not to panic and contact them for the huge ganja consignment confiscated lately

Guwahati: A previous instance of the humorous side of Mumbai police has already been seen by all when it made a humorous post seeking public attention. However, the best thing is that Assam Police too is not lagging behind. Recently, Assam Police is showing the light and humorous side of it by making funny tweets on a serious matter. It all happened then when Assam Police is seeking the whereabouts of the owner of a huge ganja consignment.

The tweet by the police department of Assam comprises of a smiley icon with the words -"Anyone lost a huge (590 kgs) amount of Cannabis/Ganja and a truck in and around Chagolia Checkpoint last night? Don't panic, we found it. Please get in touch with @Dhubri_Police They will help you out, for sure ;) Great job Team Dhubri,". This means police is asking the unknown owner to contact the police and inform them that the huge consignment of ganja belongs to him. This certainly is funny and nobody would, however, dare to reply in positive to this question raised by the Assam Police.

Assam Police further states it in their official website that it has "developed proud and healthy traditions of service and conduct and though it had its failure and shortcomings, it has been able to play its part with credit and distinction and its record and performance have been as good and as worthy as that of any other police force in India."
