Awareness programme on 'save girl child' held in Silchar

Silchar: 'Save girl child' as she is the inspiration and the source of happiness in the family. Her involvement motivates people and her achievement makes them proud. She is a blessing to her parents. She is a girl child and a lady who needs love and respect.

Keeping this in view, an awareness programme was organized by Rotary Club of Green Land Silchar at Kararpar, Betukandi in the outskirts of Silchar town on Saturday. Madhumita Paul, president of the club delivered the welcome speech and threw light on the significant features of the programme. The club expressed its sincere gratitude towards Rising Youth Society and its president Pinak Roy for their tremendous support in this endeavour.
