New Delhi: East Delhi Lok Sabha seat is finally in BJP's kitty as the BJP candidate and former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir defeats Congress's Arvinder Singh Lovely by 3,77,744 votes.

Expressing his joy over the victory, Gautam took to Twitter and said "Neither it's a 'Lovely' cover drive and nor it is an 'Atishi' ballebaazi. It's just the BJP's 'gambhir' ideology which people have supported. Thanks a lot to all the BJP team-mates for getting this mandate. We won't fail people's choice."
