Dry day on August 15, Shillong

Shillong: The Deputy Commissioners of East Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills, East Jaintia Hills and West Jaintia Hills districts have declared 15th August as Dry Day throughout the respective districts on account of Independence Day.” All bonded warehouse, IMFL licensed premises, wholesale and retail sale, shops, bars, hotels, clubs, canteens, country spirit shops shall remain closed on that day. This has been stated in a press release.
