Former Meghalaya ANVC-B chief to support Conrad K Sangma

Shillong: The former chairman of the disbanded Achik National Volunteer Council- Breakaway (ANVC-B) Bernard N Marak has decided to support the NPP candidate Conrad K Sangma is the upcoming bye-polls.

Informing this on Friday, Marak said, “After much discussion with my supporters, I have decided not to contest 51 South Tura by-election and instead will extend his support Conrad Sangma.” “My stand in past elections was always focused on the problems at the grassroots which can only be rectified at the district council level,” he said, adding that he will contest in the next year district council elections.
