GNRC Organizes Continuing Medical Education (CME) On General Surgery

Guwahati: Unrelenting in pursuing its vision of ‘Health for All, Smiles for All’, GNRC Hospitals conducted a knowledge-enriching Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on ‘Current Trends in General Surgery’, at GNRC Dispur recently. The event was organized in association with Assam Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India. It was attended by over 100 general surgeons, apart from general practitioners. Five national speakers of repute graced the event. They highlighted the current trends in general surgery and its importance, stated a press release.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nipanka Goswami, Chief Consultant, General Surgery, GNRC Hospitals said, “On behalf of all the participants, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the speakers and chairpersons. As the incidences of ailments are increasing, it is important for individuals to be proactive and cure the disease before it assumes very serious proportions.
