Golden jubilee of BVFC Model School, Namrup to be held with a three-day function in September

Dibrugarh: The golden jubilee of BVFC Model School, Namrup will be held with a three-day function from September 26 to September 28 in a grand manner. A preparatory meeting was held in the school here to chalk out the details of the programme for the three-day function. Presided over by Sister Sheeba Joseph, Principal of the school, the meeting was attended, among others, by Sister Mary Mathew, Superior of St Mary’s Convent, Naharkatiya, several past pupils like veteran journalist Samudra Gupta Kashyap, Director Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Dr Abhijit Sharma, and members of the Golden Jubilee Celebration Committee.

The three-day golden jubilee celebration will begin on September 26 with an open session for which the organizers are inviting the Chief Minister of Assam and a few other prominent people of the State. This will be followed by a cultural rally on September 27. The third and final day will be marked by an alumni meet where a large number of past pupils are expected to converge from all over the world on that day. A souvenir will also be brought out to mark the golden jubilee celebration.
