India's institutions have been the biggest casualty of dynastic politics: PM

Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that India's institutions have been the biggest casualty of dynastic politics in his latest attack on the Congress.

In a blog written by PM Modi, he said that the people voted decisively in the 2014 general elections for honesty over dynasty and development over decay.

He further said, "When you go to cast your vote remember the past and how one family's desire for power cost the nation so greatly. If they could do it then, they can surely do it now. Eternal vigilance remains the price of liberty."

Modi also wrote that Indians were tired of the country being in the 'Fragile Five' where corruption, cronyism and nepotism made headlines instead of anything positive adding that India voted in pursuit of a better future.

Modi further targeted Congress for their 'contempt for the courts.'

Later in his blog, Modi has written, "Congress' modus operandi is a simple reject, discredit and threaten. If a judicial verdict goes against them, they reject it and then they discredit the judge. The party, thereafter, talk about bringing impeachment motions against the judge."

The Prime Minister asks the people to think before they vote and said that from the press to parliament, soldiers to free speech and from the Constitution to the Courts, institutional insult is the Congress way. He further said that only the Congress is correct except everyone adding that 'as you go to vote remember the past and how one family's desire for power cost the nation so greatly.'

He further asked the voters to stay vigilant and work hard to strengthen the intuitions, given to us by the makers of our constitution.

Slamming the Congress further, he said, "Remember the UPA years when the Congress questioned the CAG just because that institution exposed their corrupt shenanigans like 2G, Coal Scam etc. The CBI became the Congress Bureau of Investigation. During the UPA regime, tensions were deliberately created in organizations such as IB and RAW."

What was once said by the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi the Planning Commission led by Manmohan Singh a 'bunch of jokers' and this is a glimpse of Congress how it treats the government institutions.
