Mega Health Camp On Women Wellness Held In GC CRPF, Khanapara

GUWAHATI: A mega health camp was conducted in GC CRPF, Khanapara Campus on Wednesday which was aimed at women’s health and sexual reproductive disease. The camp was inaugurated by D, IPS IG, NES, Sh Prakash.

President, CWA, Dr Manu Bhatnagar, addressed the audience through a video link. This mega wellness initiative is a joint venture between the Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and CRPF. The camp was also attended by IG (Medical) Composite Hospital Dr Nirmal Kumar, and other Doctors of Composite Hospital. A large number of women participated enthusiastically in the question answer session. Doubts regarding sexual reproductive health and disease of women were cleared Dr Hemanga Baisya, Dr Asha Agrawal, Dr Sangita Barman, Dr Nabnita Deka, Dr Tina Nath and Dr Bhuwaneshwari of FOGSI.

Medical officers and paramedical staff from BSF, SSB also attended the programme. In the afternoon, clinical test and procedure was conducted for women in Composite Hospital. IG, NES in his speech exhorted the women to extract maximum advantage of such health camps, a press release stated.
