Meritorious students felicitated at different felicitation programmes in the state

LAKHIMPUR: Gorkha Sanskritik Mancha on Sunday gave warm felicitation in Lakhimpur to the meritorious students who passed the Higher Secondary and High School Leaving Certificate exams with flying colours this year.

On this occasion, a programme in a befitting manner was organized at Brahmaputra Valley Academy Junior College with the Gorkha Sanskritik Mancha president Amar Chetri in the chair. It kicked off with a devotional song by student Dibya Jyoti Sarmah. Secretary Dilliram Sarmah explained the objective of the programme where seventh rank holder of HSLC exam, Deepjyoti Sarmah, along with other students were felicitated. Head Assistant of Lakhimpur CJM Court, Keshav Upadhyay and headmaster of Nabojjal High School, Sanjib Upadhyay were also felicitated in the same programme. Tulashi Upadhyay and Dharmendra Upadhyay addressed the students as chief guests of the programme. Kishor Karki and Manju Devi were present as special guests.

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Athabari Primary Committee of All Adivasi Students’ Association of Assam (AASAA), the students who performed well in the HSLC and HS final examination, 2019 were felicitated in Athabari Tea Estate Primary School on Sunday. The meritorious students were felicitated with a certificate and a book. In the felicitation programme, Naren Tanti, president of AASAA Sivasagar District Committee, and Lalit Tanti, secretary of AASAA, Demow Regional Committee were present.
