SHILLONG: MLA Sanbor Shullai held meetings and also inspected many localities on Saturday, regarding various ongoing developmental works sanctioned by the Government of Meghalaya and carried out by various departments under South Shillong constituency.
Shullai was accompanied by members of the Monitoring-cum-Implementation Committee (MCIC), headman and members of various Dorbar Shnongs and top officials of the Social Welfare department, PWD, PHE, Sports, Urban Affairs, and the Shillong Municipal Board.
“The main objective of the inspection is to check the quality of the ongoing developmental works and also to complete the work at the earliest for the welfare of the people of the South Shillong constituency,” Shullai said.
A total of Rs 25, 91,59,000 has been sanctioned for the various ongoing developmental schemes in the South Shillong constituency.
