NCC Additional Director General Major General Bipin Bakshi Meets Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma

SHILLONG: Additional Director General NCC, North Eastern Region, Major General Bipin Bakshi met Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma here on Friday. The Chief Minister was briefed on NCC matters pertaining to State of Meghalaya and the requirements of the NCC for its expansion plans in Garo Hills. The Chief Minister expressed happiness with the work being done by NCC officials in the State and assured of State support for establishing a NCC Academy and Shooting Range in Meghalaya and asked the NCC to forward proposals for creating a sporting culture in the State keeping in mind the upcoming National Games to be organized in Meghalaya in 2022.
