Prime Minister Modi interacted with 1 crore BJP workers through Video Conferencing

Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday interacted with 1 crore workers and volunteers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) through video conferencing from across 15000 locations across the country which is the world's largest video conferencing.

PM Modi has interacted with the BJP workers through video conferencing 'Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot' with an aim to mobilize support from the general public and galvanising the party workers into action for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Addressing the party workers and volunteers, Modi said that, "My advice to all BJP booth workers is to reach out to supporters and others in their respective areas and explain the good work done by the party. There should be a healthy competition between booth workers across the country. The workers should be motivated to meet as many people. They should compete to see who gets the maximum number of new voters or young voters, women voters to come out and vote during the elections."

He further said that booth soldiers need to step up now and that if they win their booth and win hearts of people, they can directly work for the nation. The PM also said that the BJP workers are the backbone and that no decision is taken without the consent of all the party workers.

Modi further said that their aim is to make India the 3rd largest economy of the world and that even a slight mistake can lead to the hamper of India's growth. "2014-19 was a period where our prime responsibility to ensure that all necessities are looked after and that 2019 onwards it will be a period of fulfilling desires of the people," Modi said.

Addressing the workers through the video conferencing, the PM further stated that it is necessary to ensure that nothing is done to dent the morale of the security forces and said that India will fight, live, work and win as one and nobody can create hurdles in its march towards development. "India is grateful to all those who are protecting the nation and we have to work hard in all sectors and it is because of the people that the nation can reach new levels of development," he said.

He also reiterated that Pakistan is trying to divide India and that the citizens needs to be alert like soldiers. "The enemy tries to destabilize us, carries out terror attacks and their motive is to stop our growth. All countrymen are standing like a rock to counter their evil designs," added Modi.
