SHILLONG: In a bid to resolve the tussle between people of Wapung and Lumshnong on the proposed shifting of the Community and Rural Block (C&RD) headquarters, the government on Monday called a public meeting to hear the voices of the people.

The Public meeting was held on Monday and the District Administration of East Jaintia Hills District conducted a Public Hearing at Wapung Secondary School. The hearing was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District, F. M.
