‘Roll back from earlier statements regarding PRC’: NESA

ITANAGAR: The Nyishi Ethnic Students of Arunachal Pradesh (NESA) has demanded the state Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein to roll back from their statement on granting PRC to Non APST settled in Lekang Constituency of Namsai district on Wednesday.

Addressing the reporters here at press club, NESA spokesperson Byabang Noah said that the duo should apologies and at the same time resigns from their respective post for undermining the sentiments of Nyishi community in specific and state as a whole. “There are many long pending issues within the state which is not solved yet and the duo is busy in gaining political mileage by announcing PRC.

We don’t accept the statement as well as take a stir movement if the statement is not roll backed,” he said. The association also said that if the people of Lekang want PRC they should be bifurcated from the territory of Arunachal Pradesh.
